FIVE Guys Hamburgers in Portage hosted a community fund raiser for the Porta-Botz! Many came out to support our students earning them a percentage of sales proceeds for direct benefit of the team.
The Porta-Botz! work numerous hours outside the lab sharing
their passion for Robotics with in the community!
Portage Robotics hosted a 3-day summer camp for middle school students. Porta-Botz members served as counselors and activity coordinators, sharing the fun and challenges of robotics education with our communities young learners.
Fegely and Willowcreek middle school robotics teams are making their debut this year. Students are bussed to the high school to work under the mentorship of our Porta-Botz! three days a week
Members of the Porta-Botz! volunteer twice a week at Aylesworth and Crisman elementary schools to Mentor our community's young robot enthusiasts and help prepare them for the VEQ IQ Challenge.
Thanks to the efforts and support of team members and their families, over 600 raffle tickets were sold in the community to help raise funds for the purchase of robotics equipment and apparel.
The South Haven Boys and Girls club and The Porta-Botz! will soon be collaborating to provide local youth with STEM activities and challenges. Stay tuned!

PHS Homecoming Parade
PHS Robotics students took to the streets to show their school spirit and promote robotics education. While the threat of rain kept the robots indoors, participants marched carrying banners and tossing a collection of Porta-Botz! souveniers and treats.

Porta-Botz! members promoted Robotics and STEM education at the Portage, IN Chamber of Commerce mid-week mixer at the Texas Road house. The team shared season highlights and participants got hands-on with robots. All had a fun time.
